Arbetsmarknadens förändringar i form av högre arbetstakt, tillfälliga anställningar och krav på flexibla arbetsvillkor, gör att allt fler upplever stress i arbetslivet. Långvarig stress medför stora hälsorisker för individen. Eftersom många av dagens sjukskrivningar beror på stressrelaterade sjukdomar, såsom depression och utmattning är det viktigt att studera metoder för stresshantering på arbetsplatsen. Beröring i form av massage kan minska stress hos individer samt fungerar som ett komplement i behandlingen för stressrelaterade sjukdomar. Ett fältexperiment med 28 tjänstemän utfördes för att undersöka om en kortvarig massage på arbetstid kunde inverka positivt på den arbetsrelaterade stressen jämfört med en avslappningsövning och vanlig rast. Studien visade signifikant minskning av stressnivån efter massageinterventionen. Resultatet ger en antydan om att upplevelsen av stress går att reducera med hjälp av fysisk beröring. Stickprovets storlek samt förväntnings- effektens inverkan på resultatet diskuteras.

Många rekryteringsmetoder som används i dag, som CV och referenstagning, har enligt studier låg validitet, däremot visar många studier att personlighet är stabilt över tid och därför är en mer valid prediktor för att kunna predicera arbetsprestation. Studiens syfte var att undersöka Shapes, ett internetbaserat personlighetstest, och dess arton kompetensdimensioner med test-retest utifrån tre frågeställningar. En datainsamling med 91 deltagare (29 män och 62 kvinnor) gjordes vid två tillfällen med tre veckors mellanrum. Deltagarna delades upp i kön- och åldersgrupper för att se skillnad över tid inom grupperna. Medelvärdesskillnader och korrelationer över tid jämfördes där resultatet visade att det fanns positiva samband mellan båda testtillfällena på samtliga dimensioner. Sju av de arton dimensionerna hade skillnader på medelvärde från testtillfälle ett och testtillfälle två. Detta skulle kunna bero på att Shapes inte är tillräckligt tillförlitligt för att mäta dessa dimensioner eller att dessa dimensioner inte är stabila över tid.

Development opportunities are also motivating for salespeople, but not as extensive as the commission. The topic has divided thoughts between salespeople and the management team.

In this dissertation, economic implications of ESG disclosure, performance and assurance are examined in three essays. It is evident in the recent developments that the need for a sustainable and responsible investments is beyond discussion and becoming inevitable. An integral element required to make such investments is ESG information. The role and importance of ESG, especially to investment decisions, is attracting regulators’ interest in approaching the provision of ESG information through mandatory disclosure. Moreover, credit rating agencies are showing interest into the implications of ESG to credit risks. The purpose of this thesis is, therefore, to examine the reception of the mandatory EU ESG disclosure, and to examine the potential monitoring and signaling roles of third-party ESG assurance. The overall results of the thesis are three-fold. First, in examining the perception of investors towards EU directive on mandatory ESG disclosure, essay one shows a negative stock market reaction which indicates investors’ assessment of the directive as costly. The costs may include administrative and reporting costs of complying the mandate and potential proprietary and political costs following the reporting. Second, using sample firms from EU, essay two shows a higher ESG performance for firms that assure their ESG reports than firms that do not assure ESG reports. The results confirm the signaling role of an independent third-party assurance to differentiate between ESG performances. Firms with higher ESG performance has the incentive to use third-party ESG assurance to differentiate themselves from counterparts with an inferior ESG performance, otherwise both types of firms could be pooled together. Third, in line with monitoring theory of assurance and risk mitigation role of ESG to credit risks, essay three shows a mediated role of third-party ESG assurance on credit ratings. The results shows that the third-party ESG assurance indirectly leads to a reduced credit risk transferred through an enhanced ESG performance.

Using a sample of European firms, this study examines the signaling role of voluntary assurance of non-financial disclosures on their related performance, measured using environment, social, and governance (ESG) scores. Voluntary disclosures reduce information asymmetry and information risk, but such reductions are conditional on the verifiability of the disclosed information, thus requiring credibility. Given that skepticism in the reports is inevitable, credibility is paramount for differentiating firm performance. Credibility is enhanced by voluntarily purchasing assurance from an independent third party. This study argues that only firms with superior non-financial performance have an incentive to purchase assurance to differentiate themselves from poor-performing counterparts. The results reveal that firms with voluntary third-party assured reports have significantly higher ESG scores than those with unassured reports. This study offers new evidence on the signaling value of voluntary assurance on subsequent ESG scores.

The aim of this study is to examine the role of independent third-party environment, social, and governance (ESG) assurance in signalling higher ESG performance. While testing the hypothesis, a liner regression is applied using data from Thomson Reuters ESG scores and global reporting initiative database from a sample of 645 unique European firms over the period of 2012-2017. Firms with third-party assurance are found to have a significantly higher ESG performance than firms with no assurance. This study offers new evidence on the signalling value of an independent third party ESG assurance in differentiating ESG performances and confirms the incentive that high performing firms could use to separate from their counterparts with poor performance in a separating equilibrium. Questions:               What possible changes in behavior has the cancelled proposition generated at decision making in close companies?

                                 What impact do tax reforms have on tax behavior?

Purpose:                  The purpose of the survey is to create an understanding about if and how close companies have acted towards the rejected proposition of change in the 3:12 rules. In addition to this, the purpose is also to create an understanding of what impact tax reforms have on tax behavior.

Method:                   Regulations regarding dividend opportunities in close companies, have been collected and analyzed. Theoretical data collection on reformers' impact on tax behavior has been collected. In addition, interviews have been conducted with owners of close companies and authorized auditors.

Conclusion:              The proposition of change that were rejected in the summer of 2017 had no significant impact on majority of the shareholders at close companies. This is due to complicated regulations. In specific cases, when reforms are too complicated, it requires the involved partners a learning time to acquire new knowledge and therefore do not have the time or knowledge to respond to the reform requirements.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur lärare resonerar didaktiskt kring SO-undervisning i årskurs f-3 i demokratifrågor och vilka möjligheter och utmaningar som kan finnas i den undervisningen.

För att kunna besvara detta syfte har semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts med fyra informanter med varierande yrkeserfarenhet och aktuella undervisningsårskurser.

Resultat för studien visar att informanterna har bra koll på varför det är viktigt att undervisa om demokrati, hur undervisningen ska genomföras och vad den ska innehålla. För att kunna uppnå skolans demokratiuppdrag behöver demokratiundervisningen genomsyra hela skolans verksamhet, utgå ifrån elevernas individuella förutsättningar, behov, intressen och erfarenheter, göra eleverna delaktiga i utformandet av sin utbildning och få de att inse att deras röst är betydelsefull. Kommunikation är a och o i demokratiundervisningen och ska ske både med och mellan elever, kollegor och vårdnadshavare.

The purpose of this study is to investigate group-oriented pedagogy and its effects, based on the subjective experiences of social students, i.e. to study the pedagogical and special educational significance of the group work. This has been done through a qualitative approach where the selection was turned towards a targeted group, and then semi-structured interviews were conducted. The result shows that group-oriented pedagogy was perceived positively, instructively and educating in large part among the respondents despite some conflicts and different views. Furthermore, characteristics such as acceptance, responsiveness, adaptation and openness are highlighted and emphasized as something that is bred or refined by working in groups. Other aspects that emerged from the results were prerequisites for a functional group work, where the respondents listed some criteria such as willingness to cooperate, group size and constellation as important conditions for a well- functioning group work. In summary, the study's content highlights that there are great opportunities for development within group work, but that it is also important to continuously develop and keep an eye on the group processes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how young people perceive living in a social vulnerable area, how they perceive the media image as well as what constraints and opportunities the housing area implies for their future.

To answer our questions, we have used qualitative semistructured interviews with six adolescents in the social vulnerable Stockholm suburb Tensta. Theories that we have used in the processing of data collection are recognition theory and the stigma theory of Goffman.

The results of the interviews show that the adolescents enjoys living in the area despite the neglected media image of Tensta. Their own perception of the area differs from the perceived media image. At the same time, adolescents realized that their own future goals are not limited by the area in which they live, but governed by the individual's own will to succeed.

Logistics planning for a construction site is usually limited by traffic flow to and from the workplace. The geographical location of the construction site is determined by roads around the workplace and opportunities for well-functioning logistics. Inventory of material is often impossible because of the frequently small workspaces. As a result, a concern relating material handling remains . Even before the establishment of a construction site, it is required in the construction industry to eliminate errors that might arise in the planning stage. The aim of this study was to contribute with better understanding of the relationship between well-planned logistics and reduced costs at the Swedish construction company Peab. To clarify this a survey was submitted at two construction sites and a sample of calculations were performed on reduced / additional costs at examples of "good" and "bad" planning of logistics, to show how to reduce costs.

Higher requirements are placed on construction firms and demand such as shorter project times and lower costs and this is supposed to lead to a high profitability. To increase the profitability it is required that the construction industry is planning the amount of resources, manpower, material and time in the absolutely best way. Logistics is a part of the construction industry which may help reduce costs and provide greater profitability, if it is seen as a saving and not just a cost. There should, in other words, be a greater emphasis on planning of the logistics already at early stages of projects.

There is a great amount of work on purchase of materials in the company Peab in the current situation, but if the company also put equal work on logistics, the planning could be optimized even before the project starts. Through good planning Peab will not only save on cost of purchase, but may also contribute to a better handling of material. Better handling of material also contributes to reduced costs for the project. Material is not only bound capital but can also disappear in waste, thievery or even destroyed. This is also appreciated by both professional workers and employees in the workplace. The opportunities for improvement and efficiency of logistics at Peab are great. By selecting a logistics manager at each construction project and also having a specialist in charge of the region that serves as support for the projects, Peab can save on logistics. The purpose of this report is to look at changing the view of logistics today on construction sites. The result of the calculation examples and survey shows where the largest cost items located in the various projects and how to achieve lower costs through better planning. This in turn helps the company increase profitability in the long term.

Goda relationer påverkar barns utveckling och lärande. Personalen i förskolan ska skapa relationer som är personliga till varje enskilt barn oavsett deras olika förutsättningar och behov så att de får möjlighet att utvecklas och lära sig. Studiens syfte är att medvetandegöra och öka kunskapen om vilka olika uppfattningar förskolepersonal har om relationsskapande till barnen i förskolan. I en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer som har sin utgångspunkt i fallbeskrivningar har vi undersökt detta. Resultatet visar att förskolepersonal uttrycker att respekten för individen samt bekräftelsen av barnets känslor är en viktig del i det relationsfrämjande arbetet. Relationens kvalitet ses av de intervjuade förskollärarna och barnskötarna som ett resultat av positiva händelser som gynnar såväl barn som personal. Vår slutsats är att förskolepersonalens relationskompetens har betydelsen för hur relationen till det enskilda barnet blir.

Studiens syfte var dels att undersöka hur svensklärare ser på eleversskrivförmåga när de börjar årkurs 1 på gymnasiet, dels hur lärarna arbetar medelevernas skrivutveckling under årkurs 1. För att undersöka detta intervjuadesfem svensklärare från fyra olika gymnasieskolor. Resultatet visar att samtligalärare upplever en tydlig variation i elevers skrivförmåga när de börjar årskurs 1på gymnasiet. Vissa av lärarna nämner att anledningen till detta kan ha att göramed elevernas tidigare skrivbakgrund samt vilka förutsättningar de har haft föratt utveckla skrivandet i grundskolan. Studien visar att genomtänktaundervisningsmetoder, i form av processkrivning och stödundervisning, kan påett positivt sätt vägleda alla elever som har svårt med sin skrivförmåga.Resultatet tyder vidare på att elevers inre motivation kan ha en viktig roll ilärarens arbete med skrivutveckling. Slutsatsen som dras av studien är att ettsociointeraktivt perspektiv i undervisningen är framgångsrikt i form av kamratoch lärarrespons då läsaren skapar en stark dialog mellan text och elev genomåterkopplingen.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka vilka faktorer fyra arabisktalande elever påspråkintroduktion anser påverkar deras inlärning av det svenska språket. För attundersöka det intervjuades fyra arabisktalande elever som studerar påspråkintroduktion. Resultatet visar att elevernas språkliga bakgrund har både en positivoch negativ påverkan. Tidigare kunskaper i engelska förenklar inlärningen av svenskamedan det arabiska språket har bidragit med svårigheter. Det sociala samspelet samt attvåga tala svenska med andra var andra bidragande faktorer som påverkade elevernasinlärning av språket. Utifrån ett språkutvecklingsperspektiv och ett sociokulturelltperspektiv är det gynnsamt för elever på språkintroduktion att kunna kommunicera mermed svenskspråkiga elever i skolan. Undersökningen visar att informanternas brist påinteraktion med de svenskspråkiga eleverna kan ha en negativ påverkan på derasspråkutveckling. 

Informational sources affecting purchase intent in online shopping: A qualitative approach to determine external informational sources affecting the online purchase intention of high involvement products.

Uppsatsen avhandlar begreppet integration utifrån flyktingars uppfattning, samtidigt lyfter jag fram deras upplevelse av integration i Sverige. Forskningen visar att utlänningar i Sverige har sämre levnadsvillkor jämfört med svenskar, blir diskriminerade och utsorterade på arbetsmarknaden på grund av sin etniska bakgrund. Jag har intervjuat fem flyktingar från två olika länder i Mellanöstern i mellersta Sverige för att skapa förståelse för problemområdet.

 Jag har valt att använda olika vetenskapliga synpunkter kring begreppen integration, segregation och diskriminering som utgångspunkt för nämnda problemområde. Eftersom Syftet med min forskning är att få en djupare förståelse av respondenternas förståelse och upplevelse av integration i det svenska samhället, har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ metod med ett hermeneutiskt angreppssätt. Det innebär att deltagarnas ord och berättelser spelar den största roll i uppsatsens tolkningar.  I resultatet framkommer att integration handlar om lika rättigheter och möjligheter, jämlikhet, respekt samt acceptans bland olika sociala grupper i samhället. Samtidigt har jag kommit fram till att flyktingar upplever diskriminering, utanförskap samt känner att de befinner sig i en process av ovilliganpassning i samhället.

The purpose of the study is to examine the banks view of internalcontrol and further investigate what mechanisms are used tostreamline the internal controls. The study is directed into whetherthe whistle-blowing is used as one of the tools in the internalcontrol to enhance the ability to detect and prevent irregularities ofa financial character.

The study use a inductive method to lead the collection of datamaterial. The study further use a qualitative method based on fourinterviews with different banks were this data material is comparedwith existing theories in the second chapter.

The study shows that the view of internal control and whistleblowingis positive in the process to create a successful company inthe banks. Despite that the whistle- blowing is known as acomplicated function, it’s still used to detect and preventirregularities of crimes, such of financial character. Except whistleblowing,the banks are using more tools to streamline the internalcontrol. To urge employees to comply laws and other principles,education in different areas for employers but also to createdifferent work approaches in the company, to make internal checkupsand constant supervision of the organization work is some ofthe tools that are used.

The purpose has been achieved through interviews with four different accounting firms.

The interviews were conducted with Grant Thornton, BDO Mälardalen AB, PwC and KPMG to answer the research questions. Subsequently, a hermeneutic approach was used to since the interpretation of the interviews was considered as important to obtain knowledge of the respondent’s perception about the topic. In the analyze chapter have dataset from the reference framework and empirical part been used to implement the analyze of the thesis.

The study shows that the professional secrecy is important for creating a good relationship with clients and is not considered as a rule that create conflicts for auditors. The obligation to report, however, is creating conflicts because of the lack of knowledge in assessment of economic crimes. The auditors therefore decide to investigate a situation that “can be suspect” beyond what is intended. To not become dependent on the clients, there are rules and profession practices that are used and also examples like not having friends or family members as clients.

The purpose of this study was to examine the social relationship and social support at the daily work. Furthermore, this study aimed to create an understanding of the importance of social relations and support between employees and supervisors within an organization. For this purpose, 10 interviews were conducted with employees and supervisors from one municipality and two authorities.

The study showed that strong working relationship and social support within a workplace and between supervisors and employees can create the prerequisite for a higher efficiency and better health among employees. Furthermore, the study showed that a good relationship and support between supervisors and employees can increase the motivation and feeling of a strong entity among employees. The result of the study also indicated the importance of a strong structure build buy a good dialogue and support between supervisors and employees within an organization.

Frågeställning: På vilket sätt leder näringsidkarens oaktsamhet i bokföring till bokföringsbrott? Vilka faktorer bidrar till detta?

Syfte: Att undersöka hur näringsidkarens oaktsamhet i bokföringen kan vara en av orsakerna till bokföringsbrott.

Metod: För att uppnå syftet så använde vi oss av en kvalitativ metod för att få en djupare förståelse av ämnet. Vi inhämtade vårt material till referensramen från litteratur samt lagar såsom bokföringslagen, årsredovisningslagen och brottsbalken. Material till empirin var hämtad från tre intervjuer med personer som besitter relevant kunskap, en skattebrottsutredare, en konkursförvaltare och en åklagare.

Slutsats: Det vi har kommit fram till i vår uppsats är att oaktsamhet i bokföring är en orsak till bokföringsbrott, främst i mindre företag som inte har resurser till att upprätta bokföring på ett sätt som ger en rättvisande bild av företagets ekonomiska ställning.

The purpose of the thesis is to investigate what the social services work process looks like when a child is in danger or is suspected to be in danger. The study consists of three questions and in order to provide answers to the purpose, a qualitative research method is used with the help of semi-structured interviews. The result is based on five social secretaries from five different municipalities in Central Sweden. When it comes to the social secretary's investigation process, the results of the study show that all county to witch the interviews belongs have the same goal but are based on different working methods. Some common challenges for the social secretaries are a heavy workload, low resources and the loss of the clients trust in social services. An additional result shows that the study demonstrates the secretary's description of the investigation process in relation to the theoretical starting point. The system theory is essential for the social worker to gather important information from the individuals and organisations in the child’s local environment. While the attachment theory shows the child’s attachment relationship to the caregivers. Empowerment is used in the investigation process by motivating clients to regain power over their situation. 

Förskolans verksamhet är barns arena där alla barn har rätt att på ett jämlikt sätt främjas i deras utveckling och lärande. Studiens syfte är att undersöka om och hur förskolepersonal utformar förskolans inomhusmiljö samt barns materialtillgång utifrån alla barns förutsättningar och behov. Studien är baserad på en kvantitativ enkätundersökning med kvalitativa inslag som riktar sig till förskolepersonal, där vi utgått från 40 respondenters svar. I relation till det sociokulturella perspektivet har resultatet analyserats utifrån förskolepersonals perspektiv. I resultatet framgick det att miljön är betydande för barns utveckling och lärande samt att jämlikhet i relation till förskolans inomhusmiljö och materialtillgång är en komplex fråga. Slutsatsen är att om förskolepersonal ska kunna utforma inomhusmiljön samt barns materialtillgång utifrån alla barns förutsättningar och behov behöver de finna metoder och strategier som passar den aktuella barngruppen.

This study aims to explain how many organizations in various fields are affected by the global pandemic Covid-19, which led to many organizational changes in the public sector, so those new strategies were implemented to counter these changes. Also, this research sheds light on the role of the leaders in crisis management through the sensemaking model that helps build a new story and provides logical explanations. It also seeks to study whether these new strategies are effective and how they affect the employee's performance.

The data collection for this paper uses qualitative and quantitative research through an inductive approach to answering the research questions by collecting primary and secondary data. Through qualitative research, six interviews were conducted with employees and leaders at KTH University. And the quantitative data were collected from a questionnaire sent to leaders at KTH University. 

The results show how the KTH University has faced several multiple organizational changes during the pandemic and how the leaders had a vital role in managing the crisis.

Some limitations were encountered, such as the response limitations of KTH leaders, so the researchers could not collect more than 6 interviews, which led to limiting the broad research and obtaining the required results.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka nyutbildade sjuksköterskors gemensamma upplevelser av att börja arbeta efter examen. Detta undersöktes genom åtta intervjupersoner varav två män och sex kvinnor, valdes ur ett handplockat urval och intervjuades utifrån en semistrukturerad intervju. Deltagarna intervjuades om sina unika upplevelser av att vara nyutbildade sjuksköterskor. Resultaten av en tematisk analys påvisade fyra kategorier, att känna osäkerhet, att känna stress, självständighet och att få stöd. Första kategorin bestod av subkategorierna ensamhet, att begå misstag, och kunskapsbrist. Andra kategorin hade subkategorierna oförmåga, tidsbrist, brist på stöd och att hantera svåra lägen. Tredje kategorin hade subkategorierna att känna självtillit, att bli stark och att få rutiner. Sista kategorin hade subkategorierna att få bekräftelse och feedback, att få uppskattning och bli vägledd. Studien kan ge bredare perspektiv på framtida studier gällande nyutbildade sjuksköterskors upplevelse av stress. Slutsatsen av studien är att nyutbildade sjuksköterskors upplevelser är individuella och kan vara både positiva och negativa.

Research questions: 1. To what extent has the rapid increase in telecommuting due to the COVID-19 pandemic affected the motivation of employees and managers?

2. What aspects affect employee motivation in a telecommuting environment?

Purpose: The research aims to understand how motivation amongst employees and managers has been affected while telecommuting, compared to when they previously worked at the office before the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.'

Method: The research has a deductive approach, building on existing theories and studies as a premise for secondary data. The authors utilize primary data through a quantitative survey, collected from employees and managers across several industries.

Conclusion: The study found that the overall motivation in the telecommuting context was equally neutral and positively affected. Competence was the predominant predictor variable for employee motivation. 

Forskning har visat att empati och välbefinnande förändras med ålder. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellan empati och psykologiskt välbefinnande bland vårdpersonal samt om det finns skillnad på empati och välbefinnande som kan kopplas till kön, ålder och arbetslivserfarenhet. Deltagare var 107 personer, varav 32 män och 75 kvinnor inom åldersspannet 18 – 64 år. De besvarade en enkät med totalt 42 påståenden. Davis empatiskala (1983) samt Keyes välbefinnandeskala (2009) användes i studien. Resultatet visade ett positivt samband mellan perspektivtagande och socialt välbefinnande. Det fanns ett negativt samband mellan personlig oro och ålder. Det fanns även ett negativt samband mellan personlig oro och socialt välmående, MHC_SF välbefinnandeskalan. Anmärkningsvärda resultat att belysa är att kvinnor visade mer empati än män. En tänkbar förklaring är att empatiska individer kan uppleva aktiva sociala relationer bättre än icke empatiska individer. 

This qualitative vignette study aims to examine how social workers within social services assess honor-related violence directed towards women, and whether the ethnic background of the victim affects the assessment. Additionally, the study aims to investigate the interventions offered by social services for victims living in an honor context and whether they differ from interventions for intimate partner violence. Data collection was conducted through six semi-structured interviews with social workers from different municipalities, based on a vignette. The results are analyzed using previous research and theoretical frameworks such as intersectionality and systems theory. The study's findings indicate that all participants identified honor in the case description, regardless of whether the woman had a Swedish-sounding name or a Middle Eastern-sounding name. The participants argue that ethnicity should not be decisive in the assessment, but it needs to be taken into account to evaluate the severity of honor practices. The interventions offered for victims in an honor context include sheltered accommodation and counseling support. It is also evident that the interventions for honor-related violence and oppression do not differ from interventions for intimate partner violence. Finally, all participants believe that more research and specialized interventions are needed for honor-related violence and oppression.

The purpose of this thesis is to be able to contribute a small insight into how first-generationSomali women experience higher education and what they experience as opportunities andobstacles. The data has been collected through a semi-structured qualitative telephoneinterview. The result is based on five interviews with first-generation Somali femalestudents who have lived in Sweden for less than ten years and who are currently pursuingbachelors or master's level of education. The results showed that higher education plays animportant role in the lives of all the students, it also shows that the students socio-culturalupbringing is the driving force behind their pursuing of higher education. Education is alsoseen as crucial for gaining social cultural and economic capital. The results also shows thatthe female students face challenges such as prejudices, socio-cultural barriers and evendifficulties in finding work after their education. 

Residential segregation is a significant problem in most cities around Sweden. Resulting in political, social, and economic exclusion for citizens that live in residential segregated areas. Therefore, the purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create an increased understanding of what residential segregation means and highlight the consequences, and what it entails for citizens in ethnic and socioeconomic segregated areas. An additional purpose of this study is to examine how citizens in residential segregated neighborhoods experience residential segregation, and how inhabitants experience their citizenship in the context to residential segregation. We have also chosen to study how Västerås and Örebro municipalities designed policies contribute to preventing residential segregation. The chosen methodology for this study is qualitative research interviews. We have chosen to do ten semi-structured interviews, five from each neighborhood. This study has been narrowed down to only research citizens who live in Bäckby and Vivalla and are over the age of eighteen. 

The material collected will be analyzed and examined based on the municipal policies and the chosen theories. The chosen theories are citizenship and urban citizenship from Marshall and Bottommore (1992), Ruth Lister (2007), Patricia Burke Wood (2017)  and Gilbert & Phillips  (2003), and residential segregation from the view of Iris Young (1999) and (2002) and Irene Molina (1997). In conclusion, the participants feel that their life opportunities are affected by living in an ethnic-and socioeconomic segregated area, they also express that the opportunities they receive are not equal to people from areas with good conditions. The participants express that their citizenship differs in practice from in theory. An additional conclusion is that the policies were found to be deficient and the municipalities were incapable of not only implementing but also pursuing a strategy, for these reasons, we can not determine if the objectives of the policies were achieved. 

Every individual ‍in Sweden should have the same right to work in everyday life, and that includes all individuals no matter what gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, education, or social class the individual has. These aspects should not be convincing to then be excluded from working. Working is considered part of a human right and individuals who are outside the labor market should be included regardless of the aspect they receive that is considered prejudice in society. Recruiters are considered to have a big role of hiring people of various qualities which in turn promotes diversity in companies, hereafter recruiters were selected to be a focus area in the present study. The aim of the present study is to increase the understanding of how different recruiters in Sweden work to promote diversity when recruiting for companies. A qualitative method applying semi-structured interviews was used. Ten interviews were conducted, and the respondents worked as recruiters in different industries, with different years of experience and education. The collected material has been analysed through a manifest content analysis. The result shows that recruiters follow their gut feeling about the candidate, but mostly based on the qualities that the candidate possesses that are also in demand from the position applied for; however, it is not excluded that discrimination may occur during recruitment. The thesis concludes that society makes demands on how companies should adapt when it comes to underrepresented groups in society and recruiters want to meet the needs that exist with the right tools. Several of them recognize that discrimination exists in their respective fields of work: they suggest that hiring people of ethnic minorities is sometimes regarded as a risk taking, and they describe a prevalence of a fear of conflicts based on cultural differences. The interviewees underline that diversity work should continue to be an active topic in working life. 

Syftet med denna studie var att studera hur några elevers läsförståelse och inställning är till digitalläsning i förhållande till traditionell läsning. Studien är inriktad inom svenskämnet och deltagare för denna studie gick i årkurs 5 och 6. Inom ramen för studien utfördes en enkätundersökning och ett läsförståelsetest. Slutsatsen av vår forskning är att de tillfrågade elevernas attityd till traditionell läsning är mer positiv än till digitalläsning. Vad gäller läsförståelsetestets resultat, pekar det på att traditionell läsning visade på högre resultat än läsning som skedde digitalt.

Syftet med denna studie var att ta reda på vad förskollärare och vårdnadshavare har för förväntningar och upplevelser av samverkan i utvecklingssamtal. Forskning visar att ett nära samarbete med hemmet höjer kvaliteten på förskolan, en bra kvalitativ förskola ger barnen bättre förutsättningar i det livslånga lärandet. Vi har intervjuat fyra förskollärare och fyra vårdnadshavare. Resultaten visade skillnader i vad förskollärare och vårdnadshavarna ser för syfte med utvecklingssamtalet. Vårdnadshavarna ser det ser det som ett tillfälle att i lugn och ro få prata om det enskilda barnet, dess utvecklig och trivsel, medan syftet för förskollärarna är att samverka runt barnet och förskoleverksamheten. Både vårdnadshavarna och förskollärare uttrycker att det är viktigt med en förtroendefull relation för att kunna mötas på ett bra sätt i alla samverkanssituationer. Slutsatsen av studien visar att förskollärarna anser att de allra flesta vårdnadshavare tycker att det är viktigt att delta i utvecklings- samtalen till skillnad från andra samverkansformer. Vårdnadshavarnas förväntningar och upplevelser tolkar vi också som positiva för de anser att den information de förväntat sig att få tillgodogörs och är relevant för dem och deras barn.

Denna studie behandlar de två uppdrag som den svenska skolan idag vilar på, nämligendemokrati- och kunskapsuppdraget. I min studie ställer jag dessa två uppdrag i relation tillsvenskämnet. Jag har valt att intervjua fyra svensklärare i grundskolan för att undersöka hurdessa lärare arbetar med de två uppdragen samt hur de förenar dem uppdragen i denundervisning som bedrivs. Syftet med studien är därför att ta reda hur demokrati- ochkunskapsuppdraget används och implementeras i svenskämnet i grundskolan. Resultatet, sombygger på kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer med informanterna, visar att samtliga tillfrågade lärarehar god kännedom om de två uppdragen men att arbetet med dessa ser lite olika ut.Uppfattningarna som informanterna har kring de två uppdragen är dock väldigt lika varandra.Arbetet i och om demokrati är något som skolan som verksamhet ansvarar för och inte någotsom enbart kan falla på svenskämnet, även om det är en viktig del i svenskundervisningen. Enslutsats med studien är att även om demokrati- och kunskapsuppdraget är djupt förbundnamed varandra så är det inget som sker per automatik. Informanterna till studien lyfter fram attnoggrann pedagogisk planering är grunden till en lyckad undervisning och förening av de tvåuppdragen. 

In the realm of work environment improvements, the Nordic countries have led the way in demonstrating that employee participation is a key requisite for achieving improvements. Despite this, there is a lack of precision as to what ‘participatory’ in a participatory work environment intervention means. In this study, the authors present a conceptual model for participation in work environment interventions and apply it to protocols and manuals from eight participatory interventions to determine the form of participation used in each intervention. The authors suggest that the conceptual model can be applied in the design and assessment of participatory work environment interventions. 

Sekundär traumatisering är ett tillstånd som kan uppstå till följd av att arbeta med att lyssna på klienters berättelser om traumatiska upplevelser. Personen som drabbas av sekundär traumatisering kan uppleva många fysiska och psykiska svårigheter i sitt liv. Studiens syfte är att undersöka uppkomsten och erfarenheterna av sekundär traumatisering bland professionella och på så sätt bidrar till kunskap om detta fenomen inom socialt arbete. I studien tillämpas en kvalitativ metodologi med semistrukturerade intervjuer för att erhålla en fördjupad förståelse för sekundär traumatisering och för att ge utrymme för professionella att uttrycka sina erfarenheter. För att förstå hur professionella hanterar de känslor som följer av exponeringen för traumaberättelser och uppkomsten av sekundär traumatisering används teorier om KASAM (känsla av sammanhang), empowerment och copingstrategier som teoretiska perspektiv. Studien genomfördes i tre olika kommuner och inkluderade sex intervjuer med professionella som arbetar inom området våldsutsatta klienter. Resultaten från studien indikerar att professionella upplever besvärande känslor till följd av klienternas traumatiserande berättelser. Resultaten betonar även att bristen på reflektion i arbetsmiljön och hög arbetsbelastning kan anses vara orsaker till uppkomsten av sekundär traumatisering. Å andra sidan identifieras vilka copingstrategier som används av professionella för att hantera symtomen av sekundär traumatisering

Syftet med undersökningen är att dels ta reda på hur förskollärare tänker kring utomhus­vistelsens syfte. Syftet är även att utifrån de ramfaktorer som finns i verksam­heten, undersöka hur förskollärare arbetar med utomhuspedagogik. En kvalita­tiv ansats med semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med åtta informan­ter. Resultatet visar att förskollärare har olika syften med barns utomhusvis­telse, samt att olika ramfaktorer kan påverka förskollärares arbete med utomhuspedagogiken. Slutsatsen är att ett pedagogiskt respektive romantiskt synsätt genomsyrar förskollärares arbete med utomhuspedagogik, samt att det råder en viss omedvetenhet kring olika ramfaktorer och dess påverkan på arbetet med utomhuspedago­gik.   

Research questions: How does the company's CSR communication affect consumers' purchase intention and brand attitude?

Purpose: The study aims to examine the relationship between how companies' work with CSR (marketing) influences brand attitude and further purchase intention among consumers in the fashion industry.

Method: The study was conducted using a quantitative method and a deductive research approach. A survey was carried out, and 149 responses were collected for data analysis.

Conclusion: The results show that CSR is an effective marketing strategy for strengthening the brand, as the majority of respondents consider it important for clothing companies to take responsibility. However, it is not an easy task to effectively and credibly communicate these efforts. This study reveals that, in the case of H&M, few respondents were aware of what the company does regarding CSR and they were skeptical about the overall accuracy of H&M's claims. Thus, many respondents are still consumers with a positive brand attitude, likely due to reasons other than CSR.

Syftet med min undersökning var att ta reda på hur mycket engelska som talas under fyra engelsklektioner i en årskurs 4, vad resten av tiden ägnades åt samt hur läraren stimulerar eleverna till tal. Jag har observerat fyra lektioner och genomfört en intervju med läraren för att ta reda på detta. Resultatet visar att det inte talas mycket engelska under lektionerna, utan tal på engelska utgör den minsta delen. Eleverna talar dock mer engelska än läraren, och för det mesta sker det i kör. Det är ett sätt som läraren använder för att stimulera eleverna till tal. Ett annat sätt är att de får tala i mindre grupper vilket skedde under en av lektionerna, och detta hade en positiv inverkan på resultatet. Den största delen av lektionerna utgjordes av svenskt tal, även om det till stor del var genom att de arbetade med att översätta engelska. De lyssnade även till engelska via filmer och cd-skivor och en av lektionerna ägnades delvis åt tyst arbete genom att de arbetade individuellt med stenciler.

Studien är gjord med syftet att få fördjupad kunskap om hur begreppet fostran och fostransuppdraget i förskolan förstås av vårdnadshavare och förskollärare. Till studiens undersökning har en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med semistrukturerade intervjuer använts. Resultatet visar att fostran är en central fråga för både vårdnadshavare, förskollärare och samhället i stort. Fostran handlar om att genom socialt samspel forma barn till väl fungerande medmänniskor.

Sverige är, tillsammans med Finland och Estland, unikt i att servera avgiftsfria skolmåltider till alla elever. I Sverige har gratis skolmat serverats till elever i grundskolan sedan 1946, vilket gör att många av oss har en relation till skolmåltiden. Måltiden ska vara näringsriktig, men ska även fungera som ett pedagogiskt verktyg, och kallas därför för den pedagogiska måltiden. Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka på vilket sätt lärare och elever i grundskolans tidigare år kan tänkas uppfatta den s.k. pedagogiska måltiden. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer fick jag ta del av pedagogers och elevers tankar och åsikter om den pedagogiska måltiden. Jag ville även närmare undersöka vilka skillnader och likheter det fanns i pedagogernas och elevernas uppfattningar. Resultatet visade att det fanns många likheter i pedagogernas och elevernas uppfattningar om vad den pedagogiska måltiden handlade om. Måltiden sågs av pedagogerna som en del av deras pedagogiska uppdrag där de agerar som positiva förebilder. Slutsatsen var att den pedagogiska måltiden är ett komplext begrepp, där elever socialiseras in i den måltidskultur som finns i den svenska skolan, vilket kan skapa kulturkrockar i mötet med elever med annan kulturell bakgrund.
