Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence the customer experience at Lindex, focusing on comparing the experience in the company's e-commerce and physical stores in Sweden. By identifying the differences and similarities in customer experience between the two channels, the study aims to provide insights that can help Lindex improve the overall shopping experience for customers. The study employs an abductive research approach and a qualitative research method. Primary data is collected through semi-structured interviews with ten women who have shopped at Lindex within the past three months. A thematic analysis was conducted to systematically organize the data, enabling the identification of codes and various themes. The results of the study show that e-commerce offers convenience and efficiency but lacks sensory experiences and certain product information. Physical stores provide a personal and sensory experience but can be perceived as time-consuming and limited in range. Younger consumers prefer e-commerce, while older consumers prefer physical stores.
