    Abstract [en]

We have done a qualitative and quantitative study about math problems on secondary school students. The study is based on the diagnosis, treatment and training of teachers, about students who have math difficulties. The aim of this work is to obtain teachers “perceptions about students” diagnosis, treatment / improvement and continuing education for students who have math difficulties. By having interviewed various teachers through surveys we have received answers to their concerns about the diagnosis, treatment and the importance of continuous training of teachers on students’ mathematics difficulties. Unfortunately, today educational materials and action plans are not suited for all students and all students are not at the level they should attain. According to our observations and findings, students at both middle school and high school with math problems have  had problems throughout the school years and may perhaps not always got the right support and help they would have needed. The work also includes a review of literature about diagnosis treatment and education concerning students with mathematics difficulties.
