Abstract [sv]

Rekryteringsprocessen har utvecklats under en lång tid. Statens institutionsmyndighet, SIS, är en statlig myndighet som bedriver tvångsvård och behandling av ungdomar med allvarliga psykosociala problem och vuxna med missbruksproblem. Syftet med studien var att kartlägga hur rekryteringsprocessen ser ut på SIS LVM-hem i Sverige. För att göra detta valdes en kvalitativ ansats och tematisk analysmetod och 11 rekryteringsansvariga intervjuvades. Detta resulterade i fem teman; "

kompetenskrav", "intervjun som rekryteringsverktyg", "rätt person på rätt plats", "rekryteringsprocessens förutsättningar" och "personalomsättning". Det var en hel del som var lika i rekryteringsprocessen men samtidigt mycket som såg olika ut över de olika institutionerna. Slutsatsen blev att det fanns förbättringsområden inom myndigheten, men att det ändå verkade fungera bra, främst då de rekryteringsansvariga var kompetenta individer.

Abstract [en]

The recruitment process has been developed over a long period of time. Statens institutionsstyrelse, SIS, is a government agency that conducts compulsory care and treatment of adolescents with serious psychosocial problems and adults with substance abuse problems. The purpose of the study was to investigate the recruitment process at SIS- LVM in Sweden. To do this, 11 managers were interviewed and a thematic analysis was used. The result of analysis revealed five themes: "

competence requirements," "the interview as a recruitment tool," "the right person in the right place", "recruitment process conditions", and "employee turnover". There were also both similarities and differences in the recruitment process across different agencies. It is concluded that when recruiting managers are competent individuals, the existing recruitment procedures within SIS seems to work well, but there is still need for improvement.
