Abstract [en]

This report will describe the development process of the of two modules, a main menu and a game, for the productHandy Blue at the company Motion Control in Västerås.The product Handy Blue will serve as an environmental central, a system that combines several solutions in modules. Each module alone is a tool that will help, people with disabilities of different degrees, with e.g. call a phone, use a television etc. Because of that we have faced many challenges that otherwise would not exist. First, we had to think about how the design could fit all types of disabilities and second, we had to think about how it could fit the different ages that people have when it should suit young and old. Additionally we had to consider were the alternative control methods that currently exist at Motion Control and others available on the market today. For example, some people have disabilities such that they can only push a button, make use of in- and exhalation, and these people should also benefit from the product Handy Blue. There are some future work left to be done for both modules, improvements of known faults and future needs from the users. We will discuss this later in the report.
