Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This study examines what the creative work climate at Fabriken looks like and how both employeesand managers experience it. To measure creativity, we have used the tool “The Creative ClimateQuestionnaire” developed by Göran Ekvall. In this study, we have chosen to focus on seven of tendimensions to measure the creative work climate. Ekvall has received a lot of criticism for his modeland with the help of the study we hope to contribute a little more to the credibility of the model. Thestudy was conducted as a case study where both creative and quantitative methods were used to collectdata. Surveys were distributed to employees to quantitatively measure employees' perception of thecreative work climate in the organization. To gain deeper insights and multiple perspectives andangles, semi-structured interviews were also conducted with various managers from the organization'sdepartments. These interviews were then analyzed using thematic analysis to identify recurringpatterns and themes in the responses. The results show that both managers and employees have asimilar perception of the creative work climate within the organization. The study also shows thatFabriken has a strong creative work climate, as evidenced by the fact that employees at Fabriken gavehigh scores on their perception of the dimensions. To further understand these results, they werecompared with the results of another study that also used Ekvall's model.
