Abstract [sv]

Forskningsfrågor: Vilka strategier används inom utbildningssektorn under Covid-19 pandemin?

Metod: Kvalitativ undersökningsmetod, sju intervjuer, tematisk analys

Abstract [en]

Research questions: What strategies are used in the education sector during the pandemic? What organizational changes does the education sector bring along after the Covid-19 pandemic to better prepare for future crises and create a learning organization?

Purpose: The purpose with this paper is to examine which strategies organizations in the education sector have used during the Covid-19 pandemic and which strategies they continue to use after the pandemic to create a more prepared organization.

Method: Qualitative research method, seven interviews, thematic analysis

Conclusion: The strategies that have emerged as the most central are those that involve the people in the work of change. Strategies have changed continuously and the ability to create unplanned strategies as a leader has proven to be important during the pandemic. A combination of “Strategy E” and “Strategy O” have been identified as the strategies the organizations have used during the Covid-19 pandemic. Communication is a key factor for a functioning organization in a crisis. Exchanging knowledge between each other within the organization and ensuring that the organization functions, has been discovered to be an important part of the development work. This creates the ability to quickly adjust and learn from each other within the organization in the event of future changes.
