Research questions: What are the different reasons to why organizations choose RPA – do the reasons differ between organizations in the public and the private sector?
Purpose: There is a lack of research of RPA in the public and private sectors, as well as general research regarding the underlying reasons for choosing to implement RPA.
Method: Qualitative method with semi-structured interviews with public and private organizations.
Conclusion: The conclusions which can be drawn is that there are a few sub-factors in each element which affects the decision an organization takes to implement RPA.
