Abstract [en]

This paper tries to identify what the fund market inefficiencies are, and how the introduction of a blockchain fund market solution can support the Swedish fund market and allow for taking the next step into automation by simplifying and effectivize some of the information and data flows.

The paper conludes that all of the different actors on the Swedish fund market, has to go through many steps in order to make a fund transaction such as internal and external communication, and the use of different systems to gather information needed. This could be solved with the introduction of a blockchain solution. Such a solution could gather all information needed on a shared blockchain ledger which in return also would shorten the different steps needed to execute a fund transaction.
