Abstract [en]
Creativity has great influence on society, organisations and individuals. On the basis of behavioristic principles, such as the ones on learning, this study has treated creativity as an opportunity that can be developed by the individual. Self-efficacy, which implies the belief that one is capable of performing in a certain situation, is one of many bricks that help creativity form itself in its special manner. This study has a focus on self-efficacy and those theories that self-efficacy has emerged from, and on creativity. The purpose was to, with help of a literature-study, discuss whether self-efficacy can have a helping hand as well as a damaging effect in the creative activity. Further along the report has shown that the relation between all concepts is a clearly appearing, which has led to an account on how nearly associated they are.
