Abstract [sv]

Syftet med studien var att få en fördjupad kunskap om lärares inställning till naturvetenskap och praktisk NO-undervisning och hur stor del av deras undervisning som består utav praktiska moment. För att undersöka detta har vi genomfört en kvalitativ och statistisk undersökning genom att använda oss av online-enkäter. Resultatet visar att lärare anser sig ha höga kunskaper inom naturvetenskap, de är positivt inställda till NO och praktiska moment i NO-undervisningen, en stor del av deras undervisning består utav praktiska moment och deras inställning påverkar mängden praktiska moment. 

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study was to gain in-depth knowledge of teachers' attitudes towards natural science and practical teaching in natural science and how much of their teaching consists of practical elements. We conducted a qualitative and statistical survey using online surveys to research this. The result shows that teachers consider themselves to have high knowledge in natural science, they have a positive attitude towards natural science and to practical teaching in natural science, a large part of their teaching consists of practical elements and their attitude influences the amount of practical elements.
