Abstract [en]

The purpose of the paper is to understand the connection between femaleentrepreneurs’ leadership and empowerment in the context China, based on theories of leadership and entrepreneurship. The thesis is based on the feminist research by presenting 6 qualitative case studies of Chinese female entrepreneurs. The conclusion is that:1. There exists a necessary link between female entrepreneurs’ leadership andempowering way of management.2. Chinese female entrepreneurs tend to apply empowerment to theirmanagement.3. The empowerment occurs under certain situations.
