For the longest, it has been known that university students experiencing mental health conditions which could lead to some destructive outcomes such as poor academic performances. it was deemed important and relevant to conduct this study to understand how university student's education, health and well-being are being affected during the Covid 19 pandemic situation. The aim of this study was to explore the perceptions and experiences of university students in Sweden about the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences. The study is based on semi-structured interviews with eight students from diverse programs at the Mälardalen Universtiy. A qualitative inductive thematic analysis was conducted, and particularly the semantic approach was used to analyse the data.The SOC framework was employed to interpret the data of this study. Accordinly, the findigs reveal that the students have been experiencing physiological and psychological unwellness and declined educational performances. Thus, the Students managed to suppress their stress by connecting with family and friends and doing some activities. Conclusively, the results of this study can play a role and is considered to support future interventions for promoting health and well-being among university students in Sweden.
